Yves Saint Laurent 1989 Runway Velvet Red and Green Embroidered Jacket

From the 1989 Yves Saint Laurent collection, this runway jacket is made from black-toned viscose and rayon. It features a serpentine-like embroidered spirals and crescents in deeply saturated shades of mint, hunter green, and crimson. It has a simple round neckline and long sleeves with three black buttons set in bound buttonholes at the back of each wrist. The padded shoulders provide structure while lending the jacket a distinctive ’80s look. It has minimal signs of vintage use.
