John Galliano SS 2003 Yellow Silk Layered Dress

From the Spring/Summer 2003 John Galliano collection, this dress is made from yellow-toned silk. It features bias-cut-inspired drape with a double-layer construction: a fluid underdress and a sheer, asymmetrical chiffon overlay tied at the front. The soft pastel palette mixes washed yellow, pale grey and hints of soft pink in a painterly floral print typical of early 2000s Galliano romanticism. It has very minimal signs of vintage use, such as slight fraying near the zipper.
